“Quepos” New attraction

A new attraction waits when you visit the city of Quepos; it’s the first “Photographic Sign” located next to the new bridge at the beginning of the boardwalk called “el malecón”. The beautiful photographic sign was inaugurated on May 3th and one of its objectives is that people take pictures there and share them at the social networks, to help promote this tourist destination, as said Mayor Patricia Bolaños during the inauguration event. The malecón is the elevated street that goes from the new bridge to the Marina; approximately 600 meters of a boardwalk that serves to stop the entrance of the sea when the tide rises.

The “Photographic Sign” has become the meeting point of friends and entire families who come to take a memory picture, especially during sunset.  It also attracts the attention of tourists who find it very appealing, because each letter shows part of the natural beauties found in Quepos. Another outstanding feature is that at night it lights up, enhancing its beauty.
