“Quepos” Sportfishing capital of Costa Rica

Once again “Quepos” becomes the capital of sport fishing in Costa Rica. Teams from all over the world will meet at the end of April to participate in the Offshore World Championship organized at Marina Pez Vela for the fourth consecutive year.

Some teams arrive many days in advance to take advantage and get to know the area and the fishing in this tropical paradise.

The previous editions have left a pleasant sensation, since the organization has found many positive factors that guarantee the success of the event. They recognize that the best is the quantity of fish and the calm waters for the practice of the sport fishing.

International teams feel well served and find plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars in Quepos. A great gastronomic variety along with souvenir shops and supermarkets make the fishermen enjoy walking the streets of the city.

They are 4 days of fishing and fun as when returning to the marina in the afternoon party reception with drinks, snacks and music await. Fishermen and the crew members meet to share their experiences and stories regarding the great day of fishing.

Some stories will not be told and will only be recorded in their memory as an unforgettable reminiscence of the great experience of fishing in the waters of Quepos, Costa Rica.
